We loved this hotel! We stayed here for three nights and thought the location was perfect, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were absolutely lovely. Our room was quite spacious for a Parisian hotel and had beautiful floral wallpaper as well as amazing old wooden beams running through the ceiling; it was worth upgrading to a slightly bigger room just for the extra sitting area which had some comfortable chairs. As we were only in Paris for a short time, the best thing about this hotel was the location. It's right by the river, and a very short walk to places like the Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Pompidou Centre. There's also a metro station a 3 min walk away plus the RER station (for taking the train to the airport). This made it so much easier to get around Paris and fit as much into our stay as possible. The neighbourhood felt safe but still very lively and also has a huge range of restaurants in close walking distance. It's a touristy neighbourhood but it's still possible to find excellent food, wine bars and music venues within just a few blocks. The staff were also wonderful; always so accommodating and friendly. They gave us plenty of advice about getting around the city and were able to organise an extra night's stay for us at short notice after our flights were delayed.

The location is ideal, as many tops destinations in Paris are within easy walking distance. Also the RER and Metro are nearby. Both concierges, Ghiles and Jean Marie were extremely helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. They arranged limo transportation to and from the airports, and double checked to assure the driver would be ontime for an early morning pickup. They also arranged an early breakfast as we departed. We relied on them every day of our one week stay and they always provided excellent and friendly service. The night attendant was also very helpful anytime we needed assistance. For example, he provided coffee early in the morning, before breakfast was served. The hotel breakfast was outstanding in every way, with great pastries, eggs made to order, yogurt and fruit and attentive servers. The room was about average size for a Paris hotel, and the modern bathroom was good sized with large shower and wonderful towels and bathrobes. Storage space was good and the bed was comfortable. Room temperatures were always comfortable and the window was nice for fresh, cool air and a view. Cleaning staff was accommodating and thorough.

Absolutely marvellous staff. A good size room for Paris. The room had a mezzanine area and a large bathroom with a bath. The view out of the bathroom dorma window looked like the rooftops in The Aristocats. Located in a nice area (Latin Quarter), close to many good restaurants and the metro/RER. We got a train direct from Charles de Gaul airport to 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Close to Notre Dame. Our room was very quiet: even with windows open there was no traffic or outside noise at all. Lovely decor and bed linen. Instant hot water in the shower and bath and top notch water pressure.

The location is excellent. The River Seine is at the end of the street and it is a short walk to Notre Dame and the lively area of St Michel/ St Germain. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby and a five minute walk to The Metro. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with lovely fresh croissants/ pastries and fruit available. The reception staff were extremely helpful and Jean-Marie is a mine of useful information, from recommending great restaurants to advising on the best ways to get around Paris.( Nothing was too much trouble for him. He helped to make our stay special.)

The hotel is located in an area we really felt was in the Paris hub. The hotel staff accommodated our every need. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms are small but very well arranged. It is a historic, boutique hotel which we like when we travel in Europe. The hotel is privately owned and therefore the staff want to make your stay a perfect one. This is NOT a chain hotel with employees who don't care about your experience. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Paris.
